New dish made by my mom.....

#yellowrice and #paneermasala..... 250 gm paneer 1 finely chopped onion 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste 1/4 teaspoon powdered turmeric 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup peas 2 chopped tomato 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon powdered cumin 1 tablespoon Refined oil How to make Paneer Masala Step 1 Heat oil in a pan. Add the ginger garlic paste and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Step 2 Add the onions and saute until golden. Add tomatoes and cook, stirring from time to time, for 2 minutes. Step 3 Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, peas, garam masala powder and mix well. Step 4 Add the paneer cubes.Reduce flame and stir well. Step 5 Simmer or 2 to 3 minutes. Add coriander leaves and remove from flame. Step 6 Cover the pan with a lid and keep aside for 10 minutes. Step 7 Stir well. Serve as a side dish... Ingredients 350g basmati rice 50g butter 1 heaped tbsp caster sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon or 1⁄2 cinnamon stick 6 cardamom pods, shelled and seeds crushed just under 1 tsp ground turmeric 5 tbsp raisin... Method Put all the ingredients in a large pan with 1 tsp salt and 500ml water, then heat until boiling and the butter has melted. Stir, cover and leave to simmer for 6 mins. Take off the heat and leave, still covered, for 5 mins. Fluff up and tip into a warm bowl to serve....
